Jill is running for Township Committee to bring fresh ideas, practical solutions, and a new perspective to local government. Her focus includes easing everyday costs for residents, protecting our open spaces, and fostering a Hillsborough where all families can thrive.
Jill’s civic engagement began at a young age through volunteer work with the Interact Club. As an undergraduate at Rutgers University, she served as a lead intern with NJPIRG, where she helped register students to vote and advocated for climate action. Her background in management and real estate gives Jill thoughtful insight into addressing Hillsborough’s challenges. She currently serves as a District Committee Member and plans to continue her commitment to public service w Committeewoman Samantha Hand on the Township Committee.
Jill and her husband, James, are both proud graduates of Hillsborough High School’s Class of 2005. Over the years, they’ve had the unique opportunity to live abroad and in various parts of the country, gaining valuable life experience along the way. Now back in Hillsborough, Jill and James are raising their daughter in the town they’ve always called home. They love spending time in nature and supporting local businesses that make the town so special.
Jill works locally as a health and wellness professional, organizing community events that bring people together. She has taught free fitness classes to keep our community healthy and has led online support groups for mothers. She is an advocate for walkability and third spaces, which are public spaces where people can gather, connect, and build community. Her time in Hillsborough and around the world have taught her that mindful planning and programming can strengthen community bonds while improving the quality of life for residents.
